The Road thru the Sweet Sixteen

The basketball scene has increase with intensity as Gonzaga looked themselves in the mirror last week. While teams like UNC and Arizona follow the traditonal format of their post season. The overnight celebrities are being created with poised stars such as Ty Lawson and Travis Walton become household name with citzens the world over.

The teams that go to the NIT are the teams that can start the season off correctly. The NIT gives the remaining post season teams another chance to not sit in off - season to cast blame on teammates, it prepares them. NCAA tournament gives small undiscovered colleges a chance to make a name for themselves such as Gonzaga and Western Kentucky. Both teams have tasted national fame, and don't mind going back.

These tournaments created the best talent that we would have never saw if we followed the who's who format. This world is ready , always ready for a star to be born when one burns out.
But will any of the star be in the position for the Naismith?
